Via your Control Panel, you can easily safeguard the WHOIS info pertaining to your domain, which, by default, is disclosed online for everybody to see. You simply need to request the Whois Privacy Protection functionality to be enabled for your domain name and your personal info, including your name, e–mail and physical address, will be automatically substituted with fictional details.

When registering a domain, you’ll be asked to give precise and up–to–the–minute domain registration information, no matter if you’re a person or a corporation. That’s why, you will have to update your WHOIS details whenever needed. Nevertheless, not all top–level domain name extensions support this feature by default, so first check for this option prior to initiating a WHOIS update.

From the Domain Manager in your Control Panel, you will be able to alter the registrant, administrative and technical contact info for one or multiple domain names simultaneously. All the modifications that you’ve made will be reflected online immediately!

With the GeoIP redirection tool incorporated into the Domain Manager, you can point a particular language version of your web site to a certain geographic region. It sports an easy–to–use point ’n’ click interface where you do not need to fill any code. All you have to do is enter the country of origin of your future visitors and also the URL that you want to open for those visitors.

For instance, if you’ve got a German version of your site at de.your–site.com, you will have to type it in the URL field and then choose Germany as a destination market. Thus, whenever a person from Germany visits your web site, they’ll see de.your–site.com instead of your–site.com.

With Dedicated Servers, you will be able to easily protect your domain name from getting transferred away without your authorization by "locking" it at your present registrar. This won’t affect the way the domain behaves in any respect whatsoever, but will automatically stop all domain name transfer requests.

And in case you need to transfer your domain, you can just unlock it. Locking/Unlocking a domain name is rather simple and entails only one single click.
