Through the Domain Manager, you will also be able to enable an SSL certificate for your domain. With an SSL certificate, all the private details that your customers send through your web site (via the order form, via a login form, etc.) will be encoded and the sent data will never be endangered.

To enable an SSL certificate for your domain, just enter the necessary info and then click the Activate button. You can obtain a standard SSL certificate, which will be enabled for just one single host, or a wildcard SSL certificate, which will be enabled for all the hosts under your domain name.

With the GeoIP redirection tool incorporated into the Domain Manager, you can point a particular language version of your web site to a certain geographic region. It sports an easy–to–use point ’n’ click interface where you do not need to fill any code. All you have to do is enter the country of origin of your future visitors and also the URL that you want to open for those visitors.

For instance, if you’ve got a German version of your site at de.your–site.com, you will have to type it in the URL field and then choose Germany as a destination market. Thus, whenever a person from Germany visits your web site, they’ll see de.your–site.com instead of your–site.com.

When registering a domain, you’ll be asked to give precise and up–to–the–minute domain registration information, no matter if you’re a person or a corporation. That’s why, you will have to update your WHOIS details whenever needed. Nevertheless, not all top–level domain name extensions support this feature by default, so first check for this option prior to initiating a WHOIS update.
